About the Event
The What Works Centre for Wellbeing states that “Wellbeing, put simply, is about ‘how we are doing ”. Most will understand and agree with that statement, so it is important for us to have a more definitive way to know ‘how we are doing ’ enabling us to make clear progress towards a positive outcome for us and those we support. As practitioners we are very good at promoting the well being of others, but often find promoting our own well being to be a greater challenge as a result of circumstances beyond our control.
During this session you will have opportunities to contribute to discussions relating to current pressures affecting your own well-being and that of colleagues and together we explore effective self-care strategies. Following the session you will receive your free downloadable workbook 'Self-Care' which can be distributed to your teams. This workbook will support you and your team in implementing effective self-care strategies, building a culture of mental health and well-being.
