FAA Level 3 Award Safeguarding Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults (RQF) This course is for any person who has contact with vulnerable adults or those who would like to develop their knowledge and enhance their CV. Safeguarding is protecting children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults from abuse or neglect caused by the actions or inactions of another person. To safeguard and protect individuals from abuse and neglect, we must learn how to recognise vulnerable individuals and take the required measures to prevent abuse and neglect. Everyone has the right to be safe and live without fear of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, and the purpose of this safeguarding course is to educate you how to identify the indications of abuse and neglect and what steps you can take to prevent this from occurring and recurring in the future. Abuse, neglect, and exploitation can occur anywhere and by anybody, usually a trusted individual. This course is created for everyone, regardless of the field in which they work, to equip them with the skills and information necessary to make a difference in the life of a vulnerable person. It will also teach the learner how to report abuse and how to protect themselves while seeking assistance and reporting the identified incident.
